Graduate Student, 1st year
B.S. in Chemistry, Ursinus College (Collegeville, PA), 2020
Kailyn Cohen is from Cherry Hill, NJ. She completed her chemistry major at Ursinus College, where she studied the electrochemistry of bimetallic proteins in the Reig lab and CO2 reduction in the Pfennig lab. Her interest in clean energy, which was fostered by an REU experience in Green Chemistry at Texas A&M University, has led her to the Bocarsly group. Her current research focuses on photochemical CO2 reduction using manganese complexes.
In her free time, Kailyn enjoys cooking new recipes, drinking tea, and reading a good book.
